Case No. CJ-2016-58 NOTICE BY PUBLICATION THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA TO: MELINDA STRICKLAND, a/k/a MELINDA SUE STRICKLAND. YOU AND EACH OF YOU are hereby notified that the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, acting through the Rural Housing Service or Successor Agency, United States Department of Agriculture, as Plaintiff, has filed its petition in the District Court of Pontotoc County, State of Oklahoma, in the above cause, for judgment against the Defendant, MELINDA STRICKLAND, a/k/a MELINDA SUE STRICKLAND, on a certain promissory and real estate mortgage, to determine the priority of liens, claims or inteest, and to foreclose its mortgage lien against the following described property, to-wit: All of Lot 5 in Block 3 of Hill and Dell Subdivision, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma, according to the recorded plat in Plat Book 1 at Page 207, and to further obtain judgment establishing that the Defendant, MELINDA STRICKLAND, a/k/a MELINDA SUE STRICKLAND, is the owner of said property; and further alleging that the remaining Defendants, may claim some right, title, lien, estate, encumbrance, claim, assessment or interest in the above described property, which interests, if any, are junior and inferior to Plaintiffs first mortgage lien, all as more particularly set out in Plaintiffs Petition. That said Defendants have no right, title, lien, estate, encumbrance, claim, assessment or interest, either in law or in equity, in and to said above described property. The action alleges that the Defendant, MELINDA STRICKLAND, a/k/a MELINDA SUE STRICKLAND, has defaulted on a certain promissory note and mortgage, and that Plaintiff has a security interest in said above described property. NOW, THEREFORE, YOU AND EACH OF YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that you have been sued in this action and that you must answer the petition filed herein by the Plaintiff on or before the 12th day of OCTOBER, 2016, or said allegations contained in said Petition therein, will be taken as true and judgment rendered accordingly against you in favor of the Plaintiff, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and foreclosing the mortgage of Plaintiff on the above described property against you, and establishing that the Defendant, MELINDA STRICKLAND, a/k/a MELINDA SUE STRICKLAND, is the owner of the said property, subject to the note and mortgage in favor of Plaintiff, all as more particularly set out in Plaintiffs Petition. In any event, you will be adjudged and decreed to have no right, title, lien estate, encumbrance, claim, assessment or interest, either in law or in equity, in and to said real property, and a decree foreclosing Plaintiffs Note and Mortgage on said real estate will be entered.
