____________________________________ LEGAL NOTICE ____________________________________ DEQ NOTICE OF TIER II DRAFT PERMIT A Tier II Air Quality Permit Application for a Major Source Facility has been filed with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) by Enable Gas Transmission, LLC, P.O. Box 24300, MC/LS700 Oklahoma City, OK 73124-0300. The applicant requests approval to renew the Title V Operating Permit for the Ada Storage Facility, which is located near Ada, in Section 17, Township 4N, Range 6E, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. The facility is a natural gas compressor station that is responsible for the gathering and compression of natural gas from producing wells in the area. In response to the application, the DEQ has prepared a draft permit (Permit Number 2015-1455-TVR3), which may be reviewed at the Ada Public Library, located at 124 South Rennie in Ada, OK, or at the Air Quality Division's main office (see address below). The draft permit is also available for review in the Air Quality Section of the DEQ Web Page: http://www.deq.state.ok.us/ The draft permit would authorize the facility to emit a total of 246.07 tons per year (TPY) of nitrogen oxides, 247.91 TPY of carbon monoxide, and 48.07 TPY of volatile organic compounds. The public comment period ends 30 days after the date of publication of this notice. Any person may submit written comments concerning the draft permit to the Air Quality Division contact listed below. Only those issues relevant to the proposed modifications(s) are open for comment. A public meeting on the draft permit may also be requested in writing at the same address. Note that all public meetings are to be arranged and conducted by the DEQ/AQD staff. In addition to the public comment opportunity offered under this notice, this draft permit is subject to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) review, EPA objection, and petition to EPA, as provided by 40 CFR §70.8. If the Administrator (EPA) does not object to the proposed permit, the public has 60 days following the Administrator’s 45 day review period to petition the Administrator to make such an objection as provided in 40 CFR §70.8(d) and in OAC 252:100-8-8(j).
